FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- German truck maker and engineering group MAN SE (MAN.XE) Wednesday announced it will change the name of its commercial vehicle unit MAN Nutzfahrzeuge AG to MAN Truck & Bus AG from Jan. 1, 2011.



MAIN FACTS:

1) The company's national businesses will adapt their names accordingly over the course of 2011.
2) MAN said it changed the name from Nutzfahrzeuge to Truck & Bus as the latter is internationally understood.
